The elders have determined based on the recommendations and admonitions of Governor Kim Reynolds, our Iowa Governor, and our federal government leaders and medical personnel to cease church services for March 22nd and March 29th. There will not be any worship services, any Connect Groups or Sunday School on those days. We will have a recorded message / sermon on Sunday mornings posted on our Facebook Pages ( Public and PVBC Community Group) each of those weeks to watch and share worship together as a family.

Furthermore, there will not be any scheduled church activities (Awana, Chaos Student Ministry, Men's Group, Men's Breakfast, Cafe Gals', etc.) from March 17th - March 31st. If more changes to the schedule need to be made after March 31st, they will be communicated to the church family as soon as the changes occur.

There will not be any Awana or Chaos Student Ministry until April 15th. Before that date, it will be determined if Awana and the Chaos Student Ministry will even meet due to the end of Awana and regular Chaos Student Ministry meetings on April 29th. Stay tuned for details. The Awana Grand Prix originally scheduled for April 4th has been moved to October of 2020.

Iron Sharpens Iron Men's Conference and Pregnancy Resources Fund Raiser banquet has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a future date.

During this time, we can find positive things to do. This is a time to draw close to your family through interactive board games, puzzles, reading, etc. Right Now Media has plenty of great resources for families. If you want a link to join this free subscription service, contact the church office for an invitation to join.

God is on the throne. This is not a time to survive but thrive. This is a time of faith building and not fear mongering (2 Timothy 1:7; I John 4:18; Psalm 46). This is a time to simplify our lives, get things done spiritually and physically we haven't had time to do and wanted to do. Hug your kids a little tighter and pray more as a family.

Our prayer from the elder board to you is that you will stay healthy, get well if you are sick and grow in Christ as we look forward to our time of connecting, growing and serving as a church family once again in the near future.
