Genesis 2:21-25
From the Start - Part 7

God declared that it was not good for the man to be alone, and from that moment, He revealed His intentional design for human relationships. This sermon from Pastor Drew Webb explores how God created woman as a companion equal in worth and purpose to the man. Humanity was made to flourish in relationship, and Genesis 2 shows that God Himself is the provider of that gift.

The passage highlights unity, complementarity, and the foundational nature of marriage. Man and woman are uniquely distinct yet perfectly matched to join together in a one-flesh covenant. Their relationship reflects God’s creativity, love, and desire for His people to live in community and partnership according to His good order.

This message invites us to embrace God’s design for identity, companionship, and marriage in a world often uncertain about these foundations. When we return to Scripture, we rediscover the beauty of how God created us — to love, to serve, and to grow in unity that honors Him.
